Citation Styles for Zotero and Mendeley According to ČSN ISO 690:2022

The ČSN ISO 690:2022 standard allows for multiple interpretations and is recommendatory in nature.
Citation styles developed by different institutions based on this standard may therefore differ slightly. Always check the citation requirements for your thesis or article, as individual institutions and publishers usually specify their preferred citation style in their guidelines.

We have prepared citation styles for Zotero and Mendeley based on this standard for installation. They support the three main methods of in-text citation. The styles are available in both Czech and English.

How to Install a Citation Style in Zotero/Mendeley

Download one of the citation styles for Zotero/Mendeley listed above by clicking on its name.

Double-click the downloaded file with the left mouse button, and it will be installed automatically in Zotero.
Alternatively, open Zotero on your computer and then open Microsoft Word or another word processor where the Zotero plugin is installed. In the Zotero plugin menu within your word processor, select Document Preferences (gear icon). In the window that appears, choose Manage Styles (below the list of installed styles), then click Add from File, select the citation style file from your computer, and click Open. The selected style will be added to your list of installed styles. You can then select it in Document Preferences and refresh your document so that all citations are displayed in the selected style (Refresh).
